Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire has taken on an unexpected role at his ex-wife Jennifer Meyer’s wedding, officiating her marriage to billionaire heir Geoff Ogunlesi in Hawaii.
The ceremony took place at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai, where Meyer exchanged vows with Ogunlesi in the presence of family members and celebrity guests.
Photos from the event showed the Spider-Man star smiling as he read from a piece of paper while the newlyweds shared a kiss.
Several high-profile personalities attended the celebration, including actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Vittoria Ceretti, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, actress Courteney Cox and stylist Rachel Zoe.
Maguire and Meyer’s two children, Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17, were also present to witness their mother’s special day.
The former couple married in 2007 but announced their separation in 2016. Meyer subsequently filed for divorce in October 2020, with reports indicating that the divorce was finalised recently.
Despite the end of their marriage, Maguire and Meyer have reportedly maintained a cordial relationship, with the actor’s role at the wedding drawing attention to their continued connection.
