TINUBU ARRIVES IN SAUDI ARABIA FOR UMRAH, SEEKS ALLAH’S BLESSINGS FOR NIGERIA

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah, the Islamic pilgrimage to Makkah, as he seeks divine guidance and blessings for Nigeria.

The President departed Abuja on Thursday afternoon for the holy city of Makkah, where he was received by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Yakubu Gambo, and the Kingdom’s Head of Royal Protocol, Ahmad bin Thafir.

According to a statement from the Presidency, the visit provides an opportunity for spiritual reflection, devotion and prayers for Nigeria’s peace, unity, stability and sustained development.

During his stay, Tinubu is expected to observe the religious rites associated with Umrah, seeking Allah’s guidance and blessings for the country and its citizens.

The spiritual visit comes as Nigeria continues to address economic challenges, security concerns and other national issues requiring sustained government attention.

The Presidency said the President would use the opportunity to pray for the nation’s continued progress and the well-being of Nigerians.

Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria next week after completing the pilgrimage.
