Is ₦200,000 Enough to Survive?— Nedu Slams Government Over Rising Costs

Media personality Nedu has questioned the Nigerian government over the rising cost of living, asking how much an average Nigerian needs to earn monthly to live comfortably.

In a video circulating online, Nedu wondered whether earning ₦100,000 or ₦200,000 monthly is enough to cover basic needs, including food, transportation and accommodation.

He also claimed that fewer than two per cent of Nigerians earn up to ₦200,000 monthly, highlighting the financial struggles facing ordinary citizens.

His comments have sparked renewed conversations about low wages, rising prices and the growing difficulty of making ends meet in Nigeria.

Nedu’s remarks have added to calls for urgent economic measures to ease the burden on Nigerians struggling to keep up with everyday expenses.
