HEARTBREAKING: Nkumoro Ishieke Residents Trapped as Abandoned Culverts Cut Off Access to Homes for Over Two Years.

Residents of Nkumoro Ishieke Village in Ebonyi State have raised the alarm over two abandoned culverts allegedly constructed through the constituency project of Senator Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi, saying the unfinished project has left their major access roads impassable for over two years.

The residents lamented that the failure to sand-fill the completed culverts has effectively cut off access to their homes, disrupted movement and exposed lives and property to danger.

While acknowledging the senator’s initiative in constructing the culverts, the affected residents have appealed to him to complete the project by sand-filling the structures and restoring access to their community.

They also called on Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to urgently intervene, warning that continued neglect could result in avoidable tragedies, particularly during the festive season.
