Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the NDC vice-presidential candidate, has said a government led by Peter Obi may consider restoring fuel subsidy measures and introducing a new security blueprint if the party wins the 2027 presidential election.
Kwankwaso said the proposed policies would aim to reduce economic hardship, address rising energy costs and tackle insecurity, including banditry, kidnapping and insurgency.
He also stressed the need to combine military operations with job creation, education, healthcare and economic empowerment to address the root causes of insecurity.
