Media personality Solomon Buchi has criticised billionaire businessman Stephen Akintayo over allegations concerning the treatment of young Nigerians working for him.
Buchi claimed that several people contacted him with complaints about their alleged experiences, including unpaid salaries, unclear job roles and demanding sales targets.
He also alleged that some workers were required to make hundreds of calls daily, sell properties outside their designated roles and engage with Akintayo’s social media posts, with possible salary deductions for non-compliance.
Buchi said he had previously considered working with Akintayo but eventually declined after discussions with him and others.
He maintained that his comments were not a personal attack, but said the similarity of the complaints raised concerns. He also claimed that a legal team was preparing a class-action suit over the allegations.
Akintayo’s response to the allegations has not been included.
