The Lead Pastor of Masterplace International Church, Korede Komaiya, has said people who follow and practise his teachings could become millionaires within 90 days and cross into billions in six months.
Komaiya made the claim during a Sunday service at the church in a video that resurfaced online on Friday.
The video was recorded during the Masterplace Sunday Service on March 15, 2026, where the pastor spoke about financial success and the need for people to move quickly in pursuing their goals.
“If you do what I teach, you will be a millionaire in 90 days, if not shorter. If you do what I teach, you will cross billions in six months,” he said.
Komaiya went on to point to what he described as testimonies from members of the church.
“Look at all the good reports, look at all the good reports, look at all the good reports,” he said.
The pastor also used a race analogy to explain his emphasis on speed, telling the congregation that the ability to move quickly was important to achieving success.
“Life is a race and in every race, speed is a determinant. Life is a race and because life is a race, speed becomes important,” he said.
He added, “Speed is critical because life is a race. Speed is cardinal because this is a race.”
Komaiya then asked members of the congregation to tell their neighbours that they were in a race.
“Can you help me tell your neighbour quickly, we are in a race,” he said.
The pastor also referred to 1 Kings 18:46, a biblical passage describing how Prophet Elijah, strengthened by the hand of God, outran King Ahab’s chariot.
Quoting from the Amplified Classic version of the Bible, he said, “And when supernatural speed answers, 1 Kings 18:46, in the Amplified Classic, 1 Kings 18:46, the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, giving him supernatural strength. He gathered up his loins, outran.”
Komaiya concluded the point by linking the biblical account to divine intervention in people’s pursuit of success.
“When the hand of God is upon you, you will always overtake,” he said.
The resurfaced video has attracted reactions online.
